Small Projects for Sanity

Sometimes I spend a lot of my time plugging away on large projects whose completion date seems to exist beyond this decade. Usually this type of work does not bother me. I can be patient.

Then other days, I just long to see something (anything really) be done. Today was one of those days. In order to deal with these feelings, I grabbed my scissors and attacked my aluminum can pile.

I made two wind-catchers (as seen on Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome).

Then I made two peacocks.

Then I got really creative and I made a flower.

And a butterfly.

Twenty-four cans in all. That’s a good size dent in my collection.
