The Green Ball

Back at the end of April, Mel and I attended the Green Ball which benefits the EarthWays Center at the Moonrise Hotel. For our costumes, I made myself a matching belt, purse, and necklace made of aluminum cans. I thought they were pretty good. However, what really seemed to go over well with fellow Ball attendants was the tie and hat band I made for Mel out of bottle caps.

The ball was nice. There was a woman with a paper dress, another woman with a kimono made from daffodil bags, lots of people wearing some shade of green. Good people watching. Good food. An awesome view from the rooftop of the hotel. It was an alright time.
